Custom Design Packages:

Silver -- includes:
- Custom design - 1 design layout provided; additional design(s) created upon request ($75 each)
- Up to 15 pages (more can be added)
- Up to 50 photos (more can be added)
  All photos will be optimized for the web. In addition, I use Photoshop to meticulously crop and retouch your photos if necessary. Take a look at some "before" and after" examples.
- Navigation buttons and sub-menus with mouse-over effects
- E-Mail script to protect your email address from spam
- One (1) DHTML feature, if desired. See examples
- 2 weeks of free follow-up maintenance after your site goes "live"
Gold -- includes:
- All of the "Silver" features listed above -
  PLUS:
- A more flexible design process - we can present two or three design ideas from which to choose
- 15 additional pages - 30 total (more can be added)
- 50 additional photos - 100 total (more can be added)
- Up to 2 DHTML components, if desired.
- Flash components (max. of 2), if desired. Please note that I do not do whole sites in Flash, but will be happy to provide Flash components such as intros, photo collage slideshows, etc.
- Email form, if desired - such as for contact or questionnaire (if supported by your hosting service)
- Paypay shopping cart, if desired
Platinum -- features and cost depend upon your requirements (an estimate will be provided):
This is for those who require one or more of the following:
- Dynamic content, such as a discussion forum or guestbook (the hosting service you select must support server side scripting and databases). NOTE: I do not currently offer content management system (PHP/MySQL) type sites.
- Ecommerce shopping cart

Template Design Packages:

Nickel -- includes:
This package is perfect for those desiring a quick & inexpensive web presence!
- Web design using a template (as is). It can be one of our templates or an html-based web site template that you have purchased. If you provide a 3rd party template, it must be Dreamweaver-compatible (not Frontpage, Expression or Golive) and cannot contain PHP, Swish or Flash.
- Up to 5 pages
  This is the only package with a firm page limit. You may wish to enter a maintenance contract with LWD, at which time we would be happy to add pages or features.
- Up to 15 photos - placed on the web pages (only)
- Navigation buttons with mouse-over effects
- E-Mail script to protect your email address from spam
Bronze -- includes:
- All of the "Nickel" features listed above -
  PLUS:
- 10 additional pages - 15 total
  More pages can be added
- 35 additional photos - 50 total
  They can be placed on the web pages or in a gallery
- 2 weeks of free follow-up maintenance after your site goes "live"
Note: If you provide a 3rd party template, it must be Dreamweaver-compatible (not Frontpage, Expression or Golive) and cannot contain PHP or Swish. A template with a Flash intro or components are ok, but a full-site Flash template will not be accepted.

Please note that all web sites will be created using HTML or XHTML. LWD does not offer Flash-based web sites.

Free Follow-up Maintenance:

The purpose of the free follow-up maintenance period is to give the client time to request minor adjustments and/or content corrections to their web site that were overlooked prior to "go-live".

The free maintenance does not cover:

New content material (text, photos, etc.)
Large volumes of changes

I will of course be happy to provide any maintenance that a client desires under a regular maintenance plan.

Data Entry:
If you're unable to supply your text content in .doc (Word), .rtf, or .txt file format, I can type it up for you for an additional charge.
Photo & Document Scanning:
If you are unable to provide your photos in either .jpg or .gif format, I can scan them for an additional charge. It is your responsibility to send them and to pay for the return postage.

Web Site Redesign

If you have an existing site that has been around for awhile, chances are that its style and/or content is outdated. A fresh look, new features, and up-to-date content will attract more visitors. In addition, content that is updated regularly is what attracts the major search engine robots, thus increasing your site's chance of getting a higher rating.

A redesign project is much the same as a new site project. I follow a process that starts with creation of the new design, continues to creation of a basic web page template incorporating the new design as well as new navigation structure, and then on to creation of the individual pages. In other words, I don't try to push a new design into existing web pages.

The charge for a redesign is the same as for a new web site.

Web Site Completion

If you have started a new site and just need someone to "finish it", my approach for such a project would be to treat it as a modified redesign. That is, I would create all new pages using most of the elements from the site that was in progress. And, if you already have a design, I would give you a 20% price break off the price of the package which best fits your project.

Web Site Maintenance

A website that reflects regular updates can benefit your business immensely. If you do not wish to maintain your site yourself, we can do it for you. Note: this service is available only for sites that have been developed by Lakecrew Web Design.

Payment methods accepted: Cashier's check, money order, personal check, or PayPal if you are willing to pay the transaction fee (add 2.9% if you're in the US and 3.9% for Canada).
