Web site creation is a collaborative effort. The site designer/coder creates the web pages using a skill set which includes: HTML coding, JavaScript coding, graphics design, photo manipulation, style sheet formatting, and site management. The site owner provides the most important component of the web site - the content.

Regardless of how attractive or slick it is, a web site is only as good as its content. People visit web sites because they want information. Think about all the sites you visit when surfing the Internet. There are some you instantly click off and there are those on which you linger for hours. The main difference between the two is the amount of useful information offered.
