About Us

Lakecrew Web Design is family owned and operated by Brad and Belinda Harvey.  

Belinda is the web designer for Lakecrew Web Design.  She previously worked for the State of Texas, where she gained 7 years' experience as a web programmer using Perl and Java.  The last State project on which she worked was: WorkInTexas.  One of her team projects won a 2nd place 1999 Governor's Productivity Suggestion Award sponsored by the Texas Incentive & Productivity Commission.  Since leaving State employment, Belinda has focused her energies on the design side of web development.  Her skills include: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, and photo & graphic manipulation. 

Brad handles the hosting service side of LWD.  He is employed as a Java web programmer with the Texas Workforce Commission.  Brad has been recognized for outstanding performance on several team internet projects through the receipt of an agency "Star Award".  He has experience in database design, Java, SQL, Unix, Ant, CVS, and Jumpstart (a Struts copycat framework).
